This final REDO workshop style conference will explore the questions above by drawing on empirical material relating to the case studies included within the project and to other, as of yet unconsidered types of activities that involve linkages between ritual, democracy and the other-than-human. The goal of the conference is thus not only to substantiate the outcomes of the REDO project, but also to build a broader base of people, practices and ideas for future collaboration and research.
This collaborative workshop between scholars at the University of Oslo and University of California, Berkeley will focus on questions concerning ritual and the other-than-human world in the context of environmental change. Hver dag 20.-22. oktober arrangerer forskningsprosjektet REDO - Reassembling Democracy. Ritual as Cultural Resource en multi-workshop. Vi inviterer unge voksne (18 – 30 år) i Oslo og omegn til å delta, for på denne måten å bidra med forskningsdata om betydningen av 22. juli. Målet er å samle mange mennesker daglig til diskusjon, samtale og intervju.
