Anders Martinsen has received a 3 month scholarship from March 1 from JCC to develop a project on “Men and Unmen in the Parables of Jesus; A Study of Masculine Identity and Power” for an application for a PhD-scholarship. Anders completed his Cand.Theol. degree in December 2009 with a thesis on a critical reading of the reconstruction of the historical Jesus by Elizabeth Schüssler Fiorenza (“Feministiske rekonstruksjoner av den historiske Jesus; En kritisk lesning av Elizabeth Schüssler Fiorenza”).
For this thesis Anders was nominated to the prize for excellent research for Master-students at The Centre of Gender Research for 2009.
