In the period September-December 2009 Halvor Moxnes was visiting scholar at Department of Theology and Religious Studies, University of Glasgow, by invitation from Ward Blanton, participant in the JCC project. The purpose was to work on the book “Jesus and the rise of Nationalism. A new quest for the 19th century historical Jesus.”
The department that combines theology and religious studies, especially Islamic studies, was a congenial place to work, with many new contacts. As a result of this visit Moxnes was appointed Honorary Visiting Professor for the period 2010-12.
