Several members of the ATTR have recently given birth to a child and are therefore still breastfeeding their infant. For many, this would render it to be challenging to participate on equal terms in ATTR seminars. To help remedy this disadvantage for our breastfeeding members, the ATTR has decided to test-run a new arrangement.

Test run in Athens 2022

For the 2022 Athens seminar we offer to pay for the cost of bringing members’ breastfeeding children and one accompanying adult to the seminar. For the moment the plan is limited to covering such additional cost for up to 5 members. This enterprise is offered with the consent of the Faculty of Theology, which is taking part in the FRONT project at the University of Oslo

Interested?

If you consider making use of this offer, please contact Ina Marie Ausland as soon as possible, in order to clarify the specific arrangements needed in your case.

If these measures prove to be effective, and if the ATTR economy can sustain it, the plan will be continued, and possibly extended, for future seminars.
