The aim is to explore this recent research strategy, in particular its potential for bridging contemporary and historical studies of religion.
Invited keynote speaker Kim Knibbe, professor of Comparative Studies of Religion, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, NL, is a well-known scholar in the field of lived religion. She will offer her keynote via zoom. Scholars from the two research groups will also contribute, and there will be ample time for plenary conversation.
The workshop is primarily aimed at members of the two research groups, "Lived religion. Practice, Gender and Materiality" and "Biblical Texts, Cultures and Receptions", but colleagues at TF or other institutions that are interested in the topic are welcome to join. The workshop begins after lunch time.
